So, here’s the idea.
When you want to improve a skill, you practice, right? This is my form of practice. One year, fifty-two weeks to a year, and one fanfiction to a week. Maybe it’ll be a oneshot, or a chapter from a full-length fic. Maybe I’ll update less than once a week, or maybe I’ll update more than that. I’m not keeping myself pinned with any rules other than the most obvious: try and write a solid piece of fiction in one week.
Fanfiction, in my opinion, is one of the best ways to practice writing. You can practice your plot, characterization, and style, all while having fun. Those are my goals for this whole project: refine my skills by writing as much as possible.
I hope to post something every Saturday evening. I may post little updates on my progress (or lack thereof), too, whenever I feel the need. The best stuff will end up on my fanfiction.net account as well: http://www.fanfiction.net/~xxbewitchingx3
My first post will be on July 11th. I’ll have my new computer by then, and will be able to write whenever I have a spare minute.
